The health care decision that’s not doctor approved.
The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is looking for ways to save money. They believe that cutting physician-delivered flu shots under MCP is the way to do it. This decision limits patient choice and will lead to more cases of influenza this flu season. The Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association has released ATIPP documents that show how government’s decision will mean more costs for our health care system. Doctors are calling on government to reverse its decision. You can help by signing our petition and sending a message to Premier Dwight Ball and Health Minister John Haggie.
